Award-winning Author, Playwright & Screenwriter
As well as his novella, three novels, three short story and three poetry collections, Michael Mirolla has written three plays that have received professional productions: Gargoyles, Snails and A Revised Experiment. Gargoyles won first prize in the Ottawa Little Theatre Canadian Playwriting Competition.
Michael's film scripts, in partnership with Gary Clairman, include the feature film Moon of the Trickster, the recipient of a development grant from First Choice/Superchannel, and Enemy Aliens, a feature length drama on the arrest and imprisonment of Italian Canadians during World War II.
